Boatcontroller is a wireless system that makes it possible to control the boat regardless of where you stand on the boat, even if you are standing on the dock you can control it out in the water, we recommend you stay on the boat and control from there. Range is usually up to 70 m (however depending on various conditions, etc.), you can move around the boat and help with harbor manoeuvres.
The system is a dual band system where there are no 2 Boatcontrollers running on the same frequency, so you can rest assured that the neighbor cannot take control of your boat from his Boatcontroller.
Boat controller can control 1 or 2 motors.
The remote control does not have loose batteries but is charged in a docking station so there are no problems with corrosion or IR etc., the Boatcontroller remote control is 100% sealed. If the remote control loses the signal to the boat, the gear automatically goes into neutral.
When you have switched on your Boatcontroller remote control, the system is active.

The system is also easy to remove if you change boats and want to take it with you to the next boat, and can be installed in another boat with electric throttles without any problems, although some extra parts may be required.
The boat controller can remotely control the starboard and port engine as well as bow and stern thrusters, also proportional bow thrusters and windlass.
The Boatcontroller remote control is waterproof and has a battery monitor that tells you when it needs charging, it will light up red when there is approx. 25% power left in the battery so you can charge it in the docking station in good time.
The size of the remote control is like a mobile phone, and has a really nice design and fits well in the hand and you have no doubt which way the Boatcontroller remote control should turn in your hand as it is shaped like a boat!

Boat controller can only be mounted on boats with electric gas and gear systems, so if you have a boat with cables to operate your boat, contact us for a price also with electric gas and gear for retrofitting.

Even on a new boat with a Volvo Penta engine, the Boatcontroller can be mounted, the warranty from Volvo penta's side does not expire if the RMC Boatcontroller is mounted according to Volvo Penta regulations.
